Charles Tushabomwe-Kazooba holds a PhD in Management from Mbarara University of Science and Technology (admitted by Senate on 29 January 2011). He earned a Master of Business Administration (1986–1988; conferred 16 December 1988, Certificate No. 8810253) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (awarded 10 July 1987) from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Commerce (1981–1984), awarded by Makerere University, Uganda, and conferred on 29 January 1985. He has undertaken specialized professional training in accounting, finance, and administration, including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK (1999–2004; Member since 31 January 2008; Certificate No. 00841118), recognized as equivalent to a UK Master’s degree by NARIC and the UK Department for Education. He is an Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute (formerly Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK; ACSA program, 1990–1994; elected 7 December 2000, Reg. No. 0963095), and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA-U). He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Administrative Management, UK (1986–1988; admitted 23 May 1988, Certificate No. 95872).
