Justus Asasira, a MUST IUC – UCoBS Sub-project 3 (Increased Access and Utilization of Affordable Energy Technologies) Scholar, is pleased to share the publication of one of his PhD papers in Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy, one of Springer Nature’s journals. The paper is titled “A comparative assessment of environmental impacts of production, use, and disposal of a parabolic solar cooker and charcoal for cooking in Uganda” and can be accessed at https://doi.org/10.1007/s10098-025-03377-5 for detailed reading, learning from, and citing it.
The paper discusses a wide range of environmental issues, not limited to the Food-Energy-Water (FEW) nexus, but goes further into circularity and life cycle assessments (LCA) methodologies.
