Patience Ayesiga

PhD Scholar

Ayesiga Patience is a Lecturer of Geography at Bishop Stuart University, Faculty of Education

and Media Studies in the department of Humanities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with

Education from Uganda Christian University and Master of Arts in Geography from Makerere

University. She is currently a PhD scholar at Mbarara University of Science and Technology

under Sub-project One.

Objective ;  She focuses on conservation and restoration of river systems in South Western Uganda. Her study is entitled; “ Spatial- temporal wetland change on sediment and nutrient load for water quality of the lower River Rwizi catchment”.

Supervisors:

2. Dr. Tom Ogwang –  MUST

3. Prof. Jonas Schoelynck  from the University of Antwerp.

She will have short stays at the University of Antwerp in Belgium during her training and mentorship.
