Dina Nabasumba is a PhD scholar on sub-project 2.

Thesis: “Mechanisms for Climate Change Adaptation for Sustainable Food Production.”. Her PhD research focuses on assessing the effects of climate variability on crop production dynamics and the vulnerabilities of smallholder farmers in southwestern Uganda. She will undertake dual PhD training based in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, and School of Natural Science and Bioscience Engineering at Vrije Universiteit Brussels, but she will also undertake some training courses at the University of KU Leuven.
