Empowering Out-of-School Adolescents through Integrated SRHR Education and Practical Skilling

Implementing Projects:
 Project 4: Improved sexual and reproductive health rights, and maternal newborn and
child healthcare
 Project 5: Increased youth employability through skilling, innovations, experiential
learning, and technology transfer

Target Group: Out-of-school adolescents aged 13-19 years in Kasese district , Bugoye H/C III

Background and Rationale:
Many adolescents in these districts face challenges of early pregnancies, poor SRHR knowledge,
and lack of practical skills for income generation. This joint training will empower adolescents
with essential knowledge and practical skills to improve their health and economic well-being.

Overall Goal: To empower out-of-school adolescents with SRHR knowledge and practical
vocational skills for improved health and livelihoods.

Objectives:
1. Increase adolescents’ knowledge on SRHR.
2. Equip adolescents with practical vocational skills.
3. Build confidence, decision-making, and life skills for self-reliance.
