Resumption of the Runyankore Basic Language Course – Ist Cohort 2026

Continuation of the Runyankore basic language course cohort 1 for all students who participated in semester one’s lessons.

The Runyankole Language Program aimed to:

  • Promote appreciation and preservation of the Runyankole language and culture.
  • Provide foundational language skills to beginner learners.
  • Strengthen cultural identity and integration within the university community.
  • Support intercultural engagement among local and international students.
  • Contribute to sustainable community-based cultural solutions in southwestern Uganda.
